Peter Camphin

Peter’s career started in 1976 at the age of 19 as a Property Manager at LJ Hooker Double Bay and Kings Cross. At the age of 26, he established his first franchise business on Sydney’s North Shore, opening a second one at 28.

Peter’s career changed in 1992 moving into the franchisor team joining the Ray White Group as CEO in Victoria. In 1994 he moved to Auckland where for the next several years led the Ray White/United group in New Zealand. He moved his family back to Australia in 1997 where he became the CEO of Ray White Queensland and held the position until 2017. Moving form Agency into Finance, Peter led the Loan Market Mortgage Aggregation Group in Queensland and held the position of Director of Strategic Relationships for the Loan Market and Ray White groups.

Today Peter is a Director of the Real Estate Institute in Queensland, runs a small consulting company, PropUp Consulting, working with several franchise groups, franchisee’s and independent agencies.

Peter has worked with hundreds of real estate businesses during his career and believes the key to a successful business is having the right people in your team, providing quality resources, an inclusive culture together with strong leadership.
